Frequently Asked Questions
Why is a station not playing?
Radio streams depend on external servers. If a station isn't working:
- Check your internet connection
- Try a different station to see if the issue is specific
- Wait a few minutes and try again - the stream may be temporarily unavailable
How do I save a station to favorites?
Tap the heart icon on any station to add it to your favorites. You can access your favorites quickly from the Favorites tab.
Does the app work offline?
Nur Radio requires an internet connection to stream radio content. The streams are live and cannot be downloaded for offline use.
How do I use the sleep timer?
While listening, tap the timer icon to set a sleep timer. Choose your preferred duration and the app will automatically stop playback when the timer ends.
Can I listen in the background?
Yes! Nur Radio continues playing when you switch to other apps or lock your device. You can control playback from the Lock Screen or Control Center.
How do I control playback from the Lock Screen?
When audio is playing, you'll see playback controls on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island (on supported devices). You can pause, play, and see the current station.
Troubleshooting
App is crashing or not responding
- Force quit the app and reopen it
- Restart your device
- Check for app updates in the App Store
- If the issue persists, try deleting and reinstalling the app
Audio quality issues
- Check your internet connection speed
- Try connecting to a different network (WiFi vs cellular)
- Some streams may have varying quality depending on the source
Notifications not working
- Go to Settings > Nur Radio > Notifications
- Ensure notifications are enabled
- Check that Do Not Disturb is not active
